Please try moving your recorder or Wi-Fi cameras closer to your router to gain a stronger connection, further away can result in slow network speeds. Hey Dnyres2, Thank you very much for reaching out to us, it sounds like you may be experiencing a network issue. Lorex is most definitely NOT highly unrecommended! So, mu question is: how is it the cell phone provider it’d it’s the same issue on every phone I try which are on other cellular networks? Time to own-up as admit your screwup and FIX it already! Also, while in my rant, why can’t I view all 16 cameras at the same time without the app crashing? Happens with every phone regardless of cellular provider! Let me guess, it’s the provider again, right? How about deploying a more stable app…ever think of that? I will not be buying another Lorex product again! Avoid Lorex at ALL costs. I have tested this on multiple phones with friends and family who are of various different cell providers and it’s the same issue each and every time. However, no matter which phone I use, it’s the same problem over and over again. If I contact Lorex Tech support, the consistently blame it on the the cell phone provider. This app takes forever to load! If I get a security alert and click on it, it takes forever to load - if it even loads at all.

Please update to the latest version of Lorex Cloud to resolve the notification issue. Hi arr210, thank you for reporting this issue to us. The box I got will only work with the cloud app and I am beyond frustrated since this system is almost useless for us now. The process with this app to review anything after getting an alert (or hearing something going on outside) is the opposite of what any logical person would design into a security app.īefore I purchased my system I watched a video on the Lorex Home app.

I can also scroll through by doorbell to see triggering events. If something sets off a motion alert, I can pull it up on the app, and it will go right to what caused the alter. What in the world? I have two Ring doorbells that cost a fraction of this system. Not only am I not getting push notifications consistently, but if I want to see what caused the motion that sent my every so often notification, I need to then go in, pick four cameras (we have 16), then pick the start date, start time, end time, and then check the playback to see if maybe one of those was the lucky winner. I have a home security system because I want to monitor the outside of my home when I am away, or if I hear something go bump in the night.
